prayer

so, as I'm sure most of y'all know...I'm pregnant again! we've had our first round of tests and everything seems to be going well. I just feel like I can barely handle the two I've got now, how can I handle another one, will three be too many for me? I want this baby with every ounce of my soul, I'm just afraid I won't be good or responsible enough for three. Please pray that I will let God be in control, that I will let Him change me into the mother He wants me to be.

Everytime I turn to my Morning & Evening devotional by Spurgeon, which is much less frequent than needed, I am touched. Wether convicted or encouraged, I am always blessed. It is so amazing that something written over 115 years ago can speak to my heart today. Jesus is so good to provide, He will always speak to an open heart. Lord, Be set high on a glorious throne in my heart!

this quote makes me smile and cringe all at the same time. My deepest desire is that i can raise my daughters to be this woman, but it scares me that in order for that to happen, they need to see it in my life. God, give me the strength and discipline to be a woman whose heart is so hidden in you!
